Dünya Müzik was founded in 1998 by the singer, songwriter (lyricist), and composer Candan Erçetin with the aim of producing her own music and promoting her albums. The company's name, "Dünya=World Müzik=Music," reflects its goal of combining Eastern melodies with polyphonic Western forms and making Eastern music universal.

The production process for 30 video clips, most of which belong to Candan Erçetin, including concept creation, preparation, and execution, has been carried out by Dünya Müzik.
Dünya Müzik also handled the production, executive production, and music for two films; "Gölgesizler" and "Kaptan Feza."
Taking on the project creation, production, and management processes of the musical "Yıldızların Altında," starring Beyazıt Öztürk and Candan Erçetin, Dünya Müzik has successfully staged it.
Additionally, between 2015 and 2020, Dünya Müzik operated a music school named "CepSahne," providing music education to approximately 3.000 students. Unfortunately, due to pandemic-related conditions, "CepSahne" had to close its workshops in early 2022.
In addition to music education and production, for 25 years, Dünya Müzik has been involved in marketing and organizing numerous festivals and concerts in most cities across Turkey.
After a two-year production process, in 2022, Dünya Müzik, under the direction of Conductor Tom Cohen, managed the "Symphonic Candan Erçetin Songs" project with the Metropole Orchestra. The visual and audio content creation (for YouTube) of the recorded concerts in Amsterdam and Rotterdam were also produced and managed by Dünya Müzik.
In 2023, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, Dünya Müzik presented the project "Atatürk's Favorite Songs - Symphonic Concert" with a specially designed visual concept, featuring different symphony orchestras in various cities in Turkey.
